Obituary for Antonette Lutton (Camilla)
Antonette Lutton, 95, formerly of Croton Avenue passed away on July 15, 2019 at Haven Convalescent Home.
She was born on June 13, 1924 in New Castle to the late Cesidio and Theresa DePinto Camilla.
Antonette married Louis R. Lutton Sr. on June 22, 1946. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1994.
Antonette had worked for the New Castle Area School District for ten years as a cafeteria worker.
She was a devoted member of Holy Spirit Parish and Christian Mothers of St. Vitus Church. Antonette was also a member of Ladies of The Dukes.
Antonette enjoyed her travels to Italy and sewing. Her greatest joy was cooking and especially making pizzas on Fridays for all her neighbors and her family. When Antonette would need to get around town she would always take the New Castle bus.
Antonette is survived by her children, Nancy Congelio and her husband Frank of Columbus, OH, Mary Ann Jones and her husband Richard of Warren, PA, Lewis Lutton Jr. of New Castle, Debra Lutton Reese of New Wilmington, PA, Diana Neely of Erie, PA, Donna Smith and her husband William of New Castle, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Antonette was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Camilla, Sam Angelo, and Louis D’ Angelo, sisters, Jennie Croach and Diana Angelo.
Visitation will be on Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vitus Church of Holy Spirit Parish at 10:00 a.m. Father Brendan Dawson will officiate.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
