Obituary for Irene A. Paglia (Conti)
Irene A. Paglia, 95, of New Castle passed away the morning of July 15, 2019 at Rhodes Estate.
Irene was born in New Castle on December 26, 1923 to the late Lawrence and Cassi Latera Conti.
She married Tony C. Paglia on September 6, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1981.
Irene had worked for the New Castle School District until she retired. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Irene enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Irene is survived by her children, Dale Paglia and his wife Marge of Butler, PA, and Gary Paglia and his wife Maura of Beaver Falls, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Conti and her sister, Ruth.
In honoring her wishes there is no visitation and the service is private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
