Obituary for Norman E. Fabian
Norman E. Fabian, 81, of New Castle passed away the evening of July 12, 2019 at his residence.
Born on November 14, 1937 in New Castle he was the son of the late Martin and Mary Fischovitz Fabian.
He is survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Humphrey.
Norman had worked as a commercial appliance repairman for Alco Equipment. He had also managed Colonial Laundramat.
Norman enjoyed visiting casinos, but his work was his main hobby.
In addition to his wife, Norman is survived by his children, Michael Spence and his wife Sharon of Girard, OH, James Allshouse and his wife Patty of New Castle, Christopher Fabian and his wife Debra of New Castle, his sister, Virginia Durbin of Edinburg, Pa, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his son, Troy Fabian, three brothers, Martin, Robert and Raymond Fabian.
Visitation will be on Tuesday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
