Obituary for Shirley Maxine Frazier

Shirley Maxine Frazier, 84, formerly of Harlansburg Road passed away the morning of July 12, 2019 at Orchard Manor in Grove City, Pa.

Born on August 9, 1934, Shirley was the daughter of the late Mrs. Jean Myers McDeavitt.

Shirley graduated from East Lawrence High School in 1952.

Shirley married Thomas Harry Frazier on May 25, 1952. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1980.

She was a member of Unity Baptist in Harlansburg. Shirley spent over 40 years working at The Village Inn. She was a Member of the Eastern Star New Castle Lodge 105 where she served as Worthy Matron. Shirley enjoyed bowling, card club, baking and ceramics.

Shirley is survived by her children, Patricia Jean Klingensmith and her husband Harold of Cerro Gorde, NC, Robert Harry Frazier of Plain Grove, Pa, Thomas Lee Fraizier of New Castle, daughter-in-law, Pamela Frazier of Brookfield, OH, her half-sister Elaine Wertz, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, step father, James McDeavitt and her husband, Shirley was preceded in death by, her son, David Allen Frazier, her daughter, Debra Lynn Klingensmith, son-in law Larry Dean Klingnsmith and her granddaughter, Nicole Marie Frazier.

Visitation will be on Tuesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.

A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.

Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
