Obituary for Richard Lyn Hoon
Richard Lyn Hoon, 62, of New Castle passed away June 19, 2019.
Born on March 11, 1957 in New Castle he was the son of the late Michael H. and Delores Jacobs Blazzo.
Richard had been married to the former Cindi Smolnic who preceded him in death on June 9, 2016.
Richard had worked as a security guard. He was a member of the National Guard and an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Richard is survived by two brothers, Paul Hoon and his wife Pamela of Pulaski, Robert Hoon and his wife Gena of Pulaski, three sisters, Linda Miller, Rhoda Lyles, Denise Callahan and her husband Joseph all of New Castle and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Daryll and sister Audrey.
Honoring his wishes there is no visitation or service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
