Obituary for James Lee Eggleston

James Lee Eggleston, 75, of Wheatland, Pa, passed away on June 22, 2019 at The Grove in New Castle.

Born on January 19, 1944 in New Castle, he was the son of the late James and Willie Lee Lowry Eggleston.

James had worked as an airplane mechanic for Boeing and Rockwell. He was a member of St. Paul Church.

James enjoyed bowling, and playing bingo, but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

James is survived by his children,Angela Brown and her husband Ronald of Farrell, PA, Jimmy Eggleston and Candice Eggleston both of Columbus, OH, Alicia Fears of New Castle, his step children, Indigo Lowe of Loraine, OH, Edward Lowe of New Castle, his brother, George Eggleston and his wife Pearl of New Castle, sisters, Gayle Craig and her husband Edward of Baltimore, MD., Laretha Ware of Rockhill, SC, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, one great grandchild and his grandmother, Minnie Watkins.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 1st, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.

A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m.

Pastor Terrance Harrison will officiate.

The Family will receive friends before the service at the house of Annie Rice.
