Obituary for Harold L. Smith
Harold L. Smith, 91, of Edinburg, Pa passed away the evening of June 17, 2019 at The Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle.
Born in New Castle on June 25, 1927, Harold was the son of the late George W. and Florence Dunn Smith.
Harold served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. He retired from Neshannock School District where he had worked as the superintendent of maintenance. Harold enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and listening to music.
Harold is survived by his children, Linda (David) Brunswick, Mary Lou (Gordon) Collingwood, all of New Castle; Barbara (Thomas) Kalac of Emmett, ID, and Russell Smith of Lowellville, OH, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death a daughter, Nancy Ann Norco and his four wives, Betty Matthews Smith, Mary H. Arrow Smith, Felicia Rigby Smith and Rachel Stewart Smith.
There are no calling hours and services are private.
Burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery.
