Obituary for Bonita L. "Bonnie" Mezza (Sniezek)
Bonita (Bonnie) L. Mezza, 77, formerly of New Castle passed away on May 23, 2019 at Lucy Corr Assisted Living in Chesterfield, Virginia.
Born on June 13, 1941 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Alexander Sniezek.
She married her beloved husband Bernard (Ben) Mezza who preceded her in death on January 25, 2006.
Bonnie had worked for the Pa. Department of Vital Statistics.
She had been a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Bonnie loved having her dogs around, but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Joseph (Jay) Mezza and his wife Gayle of Avon Park, FL and Scott Mezza of Hopewell, VA.
Visitation will be on Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A Blessing service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. Father William Siple will officiate.
Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the Donor’s Choice.
