Obituary for Jeffrey D. Malley

Jeffrey D. Malley, 41, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of May 17, 2019 at his residence after a three year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on April 30, 1978 in New Castle he was the son of Daniel A. Malley Jr. and Vickie Yachym Malley who survive.

He was married to his wife the former Summer Fulkerson Malley who survives at home.

Jeff had worked as the General Manager for Aarons.

He previously attended Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church and currently attended Victory Christian Center. Jeff had played softball in his younger days, but currently enjoyed bocce and played for the Lawrence County Bocce League. Jeff had also been a coach for Little League Baseball.

In addition to his parents and wife Jeff is survived by his two sons, Jason D. Malley and Cameron A. Malley, both at home, his brother, Matthew Malley of New Castle, his maternal grandmother, Betty Yachym of New Castle and his former wife, Rachel Malley of New Castle.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Daniel Malley, Sr. and Joan Malley, and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Yachym.

Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.

A service will be conducted on Thursday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate. Burial will be in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
