Obituary for Roxanne M. Taylor (DeVincentis)

Roxanne M. Taylor 66, of Union Township passed away the morning of May 12, 2019 at UPMC Passavant.

Born on March 21, 1953 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Alfred (Bingo) and Helen Cast DeVincentis.

On March 20, 1976 she married her beloved husband, Rick Taylor who survives at home.

Roxanne had worked as the head cook in the cafeteria at Union High School for over twenty seven years before she retired.

She attended Kings Chapel Church. Roxanne enjoyed cooking, and was always known for her home made roni rolls at Union Schools. She dearly loved her family and her whole world revolved around them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Roxanne is survived by her children, Haley Taylor and Tamara Taylor both of New Castle, her brother, Alfred G. DeVincentis and his wife Judy of Boardman, Ohio, five grandchildren, Vanessa, Jaylin, Keyara, Milla and Anderson, nine great-grandchildren, Aniya, Amarii, T.J., Ayden, Traevon, Gabby, Khalia, Gabriel and Chris Jr.

In addition to her parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by her in-laws, Edward G. and Mary C. Taylor.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.

A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jarod Mills of Clifton Flats Alliance Church will officiate.

Entombment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
