Obituary for Emma L. Mazzocca
Emma L. Mazzocca, 92, of Shenango Township passed away the morning of May 7, 2019 at Jameson Care Center.
Born on October 3, 1926 in Brent, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Onorina Pasquarelli Valentine. On June 16, 1951 she married her beloved husband, Vincent Mazzocca who preceded her in death on November 30, 2001.
Emma had worked for her family business, Valentine’s Restaurant.
She was a member of the St Vitus Church. Emma enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and visiting casinos. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, they were the center of her life.
Emma is survived by her children, Renae Radcliff and her husband Dave of Lancaster, Pa., Amy Pidro and her husband Frank of New Castle, Noreen Mazzocca of Pittsburgh, Pa, her brother Ron Valentine and his wife Carol of New Castle, two grandchildren, Ian Radcliff, Lauren Ward and her husband Keith, and one great grandchild, Noah Radcliff.
In addition to her parents, and husband Emma was preceded in death by two sisters, Flo Morella and Mary Dewyer and three brothers, John, Ted and Ray Valentine.
Honoring her wishes there is no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vitus Church, Father William Siple will officiate. Entombment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
A reception for family and friends will be held at Medures Villa, 2500 New Butler Rd. New Castle, Pa. 16101, immediately following the Mass of Christian Burial.
