Louise J. Marino, 81, of Taylor Township passed away the morning of May 7, 2019 at UPMC Jameson.

Born on December 4, 1937 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Frank and Amelia Felix Barattiero.

On June 2, 1962 she married her beloved husband, Thomas J. Marino who survives at home.

In her early years Louise had worked at Farone Drug Store and Isalys. She then worked for Sears Department Store and Auto Center before retiring after thirty two years.

Louise was a devoted member and very involved at St. Vincent de Paul Church.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bingo and celebrating the holidays. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by her sister Florence Boak of New Castle and several nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Evangeline Guncy and Carol Ann Lease.

Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.

A procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Joseph McCaffrey will officiate.

Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
