Obituary for Patricia B. Maddox (Baxter)
Patricia B. Maddox, 78, formerly of New Castle passed on April 26, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio.
Born in New Castle on February 5, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Grover and Hazel Shaner Baxter.
On June 17, 1965 she married her beloved husband, Willis R. Maddox who preceded her in death on October 2, 2002.
Patricia enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR races and taking care of her animals. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Patricia is survived by her children, Mary Boyle of New Castle, Pa., Laurie Burkey of Warren, OH, Debbie Munsey of Youngstown, OH, Larry Maddox of MI, Tony Maddox of VA, her brother, Grover Baxter, Jr. of NC, her sisters, Judy Torisk of OH, Lottie Orras of New Castle, thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Baxter.
In honoring her wishes there is no visitation or service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
