Obituary for Donald L. Heckathorne
Donald L. Heckathorne, 61, of New Castle passed away the morning of April 21, 2019 at his residence.
Born on May 22, 1957 in New Castle he was the son of the late Gerald Heckathorne and his mother, Bessie Lesaett Heckathorne who survives.
On June 6, 1998 he married his wife, the former Linda Hook who survives at home.
Donald was a self-employed construction worker. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his step-daughter, Teresa Hooks, brothers, Roger, Gerald and Jeffrey Heckathorne all of New Castle, his sister Janet (Vincent) Peluso of New Castle, grandchildren, Armand James and Aaron Johnson, and great-grandson, Carter James.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce.
There is no visitation or service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
