Obituary for Patricia Regan (Butera)
Patricia Regan, 81, passed away on April 16, 2019 at the Grove at New Wilmington.
Born on March 17, 1938 in West Pittsburg, Pa. she was the daughter of the late James and Velma Shoaf Butera.
On July 12, 1958 she married her beloved husband, Herbert Regan who survives.
Patricia had worked at Reliable Luggage as an inspector. She then worked for Golden Hill Nursing Home as a Nurses’ Aide. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church. Patricia enjoyed crotcheting, crossword, camping, travel, bingo, puzzles, gardening, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Herbert Regan of New Castle, Bonnie (Bruce) Wigton of New Castle, Tina Frum and her companion, John Gross of Ohio, Patrick Regan of New Castle, her brother, James Butera of New Castle, two sisters, Bonnie Schwiensburg of New Castle, Antonette Mangino of New Castle, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Velma Nocera and two sisters, Mary Morrone and Donna O’Loughlin.
Visitation will be on Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Father Victor Molka, Jr. will officiate.
