Obituary for Marsha Hambrick
Marsha Hambrick, 77, formerly of New Castle passed away April 1, 2019 in Roswell, GA.
Born on June 17, 1941 in Newark, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Esker Simmons and Catherine Hambrick.
Marsha was formerly married to the late James Hambrick, Sr.
Marsha had worked as an LPN for over thirty years at several area nursing homes. Marsha enjoyed cooking, singing with the Gospelettes, and was very active in her church. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Marsha is survived by her children, Michael Hambrick and his wife Sony of New Castle, Jaina Hambrick of Georgia, two brothers, William Franklin, Peter Franklin, several grandchildren, one great grandson and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, James Hambrick, Jr. and her grandson, Hassan Nnaeto.
Visitation will be on Friday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A Homegoing service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Elder David Samuels will officiate.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
