Obituary for Grace M. Wolford
Rev. Grace M. Wolford, 91, of New Castle passed away on March 11, 2019 at UPMC Jameson.
Born in New Castle on April 28, 1927 she was the daughter of Herman J. and Esther A. Logan Wolford.
In 1948 Grace became an Ordained Minister with the Wesleyan Tabernacle Association. Over the next twenty plus years Grace pastored various churches and traveled extensively serving her Lord and doing Evangelistic work. During her stay at Avalon Place over the last several years, Grace continued to hold Sunday services.
Grace is survived by several cousins, and her friends who were her family, Tina and Robert Heslop and their children and grandchildren, Also, Dale Alwardt and Marilyn and Denny Weber.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Lucinda Wolford.
Visitation will be on Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Herb Smith and Rev. Luke Rambo will officiate.
Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
