Obituary for Marian Kobialka (Thompson)
Marian Kobialka, 91, of New Castle, passed away the morning of February 26, 2019 at The Grove at New Castle.
Born on September 9, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Kramer Thompson.
She married her beloved husband, Benny Kobialka and he preceded her in death in 1996.
Marian enjoyed playing bingo and being with people, but her greatest joy was time spent with her family.
Marian is survived by her son, Timmy Kobialka of New Castle, three grandchildren, John Kobialka, Jimmy Reid and Wayne Kobialka, and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marian was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Knight and Tammy Freshcorn, her son, Billy Kobialka and five brothers, John, Ed, Walt, Donnie and Chuckie Thompson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Parkside Cemetery. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
