Obituary for David Cole
David Cole, 59, of Union Township, passed away the morning of February 25, 2019 at UPMC Horizon Farrell, PA following his brave battle with cancer.
Born on January 10, 1960 in New Castle, he was the son of the late John J. and Wanda Rybka Cole.
David was employed as a delivery truck driver for twenty years at Jugenheimer Industrial Supplies in Hubbard, Ohio.
David was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish.
David was a 1978 graduate of Union High School. He was very proud of his Polish Heritage and enjoyed attending Polish ethnic events. David was a very active member and the financial secretary for twenty nine years at the K.Pulaski Club in New Castle, Pa. David was a volunteer at Conneaut Lake Park and planted many of their flower gardens and enjoyed boating on Conneaut Lake. He was a social member at Conneaut Lake Station 3 VFD.
David is survived by his sister, Karen Dellarosa and her husband David of Saxonburg, Pa, his niece, Lauren and his nephew, Nicholas.
In honoring his wishes there will be a private blessing service held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St. Father Anthony Sciarappa will officiate.
Burial will be in Madonna Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request any Memorial Contributions be made to the Trustees of Conneaut Lake Park, 789 Bessemer, Meadville, Pa. 16335
