Obituary for Viola Elisco (Roselli)

Viola  Elisco (Roselli)
Viola Elisco, 93, of New Castle, passed away the morning of February 14, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on November 2, 1925, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Silvio and Marie Malone Roselli.

On October 30, 1947 she married her beloved husband, Benjamin L. Elisco who preceded her in death on May 17, 1996.

Viola was a devoted partner to her late husband Benjamin and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Viola was a member of St. Vitus Parish. A woman of faith and the heart of the Elisco family, Viola shaped her children spirituality by her tireless Catholic faith example.

Viola is survived by her children, Cecelia Petrucci and her husband Joey, Jr. of New Castle, Frank Elisco and his wife Chickie of Fort Lauderdale, FL, David Elisco and his wife Carol, of New Castle, grandchildren, Stephane Elisco, Ashley Petrucci, Jona Elisco (Emily), Melinda Moore, Stacy Conti (Richard), Joseph Lalama(Kristen), Jimmy Pezzone(Christi), great grandchildren, Joseph, Giavanna, Luca, Nico, Annalynn, Emma, Lucia, Alexandrea, Jason, Nicholas, and Richard.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Cecelia Saul, four brothers, Augustine Roselli and wife Rose, Louis Roselli and wife Dorothy, Domenick Roselli and wife Ang, Alfred Roselli and one granddaughter, Christine Lalama.

Visitation will be on Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.

A procession will leave the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. for St. Vitus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Father Anthony Sciarappa will officiate.

Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
