Robert (Bob) V. Naplen, 54, of New Castle, passed away the evening of February 4, 2019 at UPMC Jameson.

Born on February 23, 1964 he is the son of the late Norman Naplen and Dorothy O’Shea Naplen who survives.

Bob had previously worked as a truck driver for Dandy Transportation. Bob was a huge Beatles fan and he enjoyed collecting different types of vinyl. Bob was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his mother, Bob is survived by his daughter, Andrea Bell and her husband Michael of Sewickley, his brother, Norman Naplen of Boyers, PA, his sisters, Joanne Delaney and her husband Kevin of New Castle, Kim Lowe and her husband Rob of West Middlesex, his nephew, Kyle Delaney and niece, Olivia Lowe.

In honoring Bob’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private Homegoing celebration will be held by his family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
