Cora B. Echols, formerly of New Castle, PA, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019 at her residence in Washington PA.

She was born on April 5,1932 in Elkton, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Cleo and Equila Bell Russell Kenner.

On June 11, 1965, she married her beloved husband, Jeremiah Echols, who preceded her in death on October 24,1994.

Cora had worked as a CNA for The Grove at New Castle in New Castle, PA. She was a member of Eastern Star Golden Rule Chapter. She was affiliated with St. Paul Baptist Church where she supported her husband and was a member of the adult Choir. She moved to Evansville IN after the death of her husband to take care of her mother. She was a member of First Ebenezer Baptist Church in Evansville, IN. She loved fishing, cooking and gardening. Cora was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She was very devoted to her family.

Cora is survived by her children, Richard Sebree and his wife Vickie of Ft. Worth, TX, Charlotte Sebree of Pittsburgh, PA, Phillip Sebree of New Castle, PA and Charlotte (Nece) Campbell and her husband Ricky of Washington, PA. Her Sister, Lucile Kenner of Cincinnati, OH and her brother, James Cager of Hopkinsville, KY.

She is survived by seven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 1 great-great grandson.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, February 8th, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill Street, New Castle PA 16101.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 pm. Rev. Frank Christian will officiate.

Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery.
