Goldie B. Izzo, 81, of New Castle, passed away the morning of January 30, 2019 at the Haven Convalescent Home.

Born on February 4, 1937 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel Smiley Warneck.

On June 27, 1953 Goldie married her beloved husband, Joseph P. Izzo who preceded her in death on July 29, 1986.

Goldie had worked for Frengels Restaurant as their Assistant Manager. She had been a member of United Brethren Church. In her early years Goldie enjoyed swimming, bowling, and roller skating. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Goldie is survived by her children, Toni Klingensmith and her husband Joseph of Murfreesboro, TN, Kim Izzo of New Castle, Larry Izzo and his wife Maria of Kissimmee, FL and Ronald Izzo and his wife Luanne of Bessemer, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Goldie was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

In honoring her wishes there are no calling hours and the service is private.

Interment will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
