David P. (Red) Crenney, 69, of New Castle, passed away the morning of January 30, 2019 at the Grove at New Wilmington.

Born on May 18, 1949 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Josephine Peccardo Crenney.

David had worked as a construction worker. He was a member of St. Vitus Church. David was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan.

David is survived by his aunt, Mary Ann Peccardo and cousin, Vicki Mrozek.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his aunt, Eva Mrozek, uncles, Walter Piccari, Domenic Piccari, Leo Peccardo, Louis Piccari and Joseph Peccardo.

Visitation will be on Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 South Mill St.

A Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Deacon John Carran will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
