Obituary for Bonnie L. Zook
Bonnie L. Zook, 72, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of January 20, 2019 at UPMC Jameson.
Born in New Castle on May 15, 1946, Bonnie was the daughter of Wendell and Marjorie Knight Buchanan. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives. Preceding her in death on July 21, 1994 was her husband, Harold R. Zook, Sr. whom she married on March 21, 1964.
Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and cherished the times she spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Bonnie is survived by her children, Harold Richard Zook, Jr., Wendy Crowley and her husband Samuel, both of New Castle; Diane Ferguson and her husband John of Greenville, PA and Ronald Zook, Sr. and his wife Cynthia of Mercer, PA; her brother, James Buchanan and his wife Connie of Ellwood City; her sisters, Iris Revetti and her husband Gary of Wampum, Mildred Stewart of New Castle, seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill ST followed by a service at 8:00PM. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jim Dinger.
Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
