Obituary for Mary Ann Carangie (Attisano)
Mary Ann Carangie, 92, of West Pittsburg, passed away the afternoon of January 13, 2019 at her residence.
Born on September 26, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Vincenza Gambero Attisano.
On September 6, 1947 she married her beloved husband, Benjamin Carangie, Sr. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2014.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Mary Ann had spent many years as a Volunteer for the former St. Francis Hospital and Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, Benjamin Carangie and his wife Philomena of Pittsburgh and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert N. Carangie, one brother, Larry A. Attisano and one sister, Josephine Costa.
In honoring her wishes there are no calling hours and the service is private.
Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
