Betty Casciato Petronelis, 77, of New Castle, passed away the evening of January 12, 2019 at her residence.

Born on March 11, 1941 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Schiraldi Casciato.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of twenty five years George Petronelis.

Betty retired from the dietary department at Jameson Hospital after thirty four years of service. Betty enjoyed playing her guitar, reading and collecting Indian artifacts.

In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her brother, David Casciato of New Castle, sisters, Norma Matuz and Lorraine Petronelis, both of New Castle, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.

A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 12:00. Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate.

Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
