Obituary for Louise Mary Graziani
Louise Mary Graziani, 72, of New Castle, passed away the evening of December 30, 2018 at her residence.
Born on February 8, 1946 in Derry, Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Bridget Theresa McDaid Melozzi. On November 1, 1965 she married her beloved husband, Andy J. Graziani and he survives at home.
Louise had worked at the Youth Development Center for fifteen years before retiring. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1988.
A devoted member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Louise was a former Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Catechist and Choir Member.
In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by her children, A. James Graziani of Pittsburgh, Matthew Graziani and his wife Joan of New Castle, Arthur Graziani of Pittsburgh, Alex Graziani and his wife Eva of Greensburg, PA, her brother, J. Alex Melozzi of New Castle, two sisters, Peggy Melozzi and her husband Dana Roszkiewicz of Tiverton, RI, Maura Melozzi Mamczij and her husband Joe of Chicago, IL, and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
Family and friends will meet on Tuesday at St. Joseph the Worker Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. The Rev Father William Siple will officiate.
Entombment will be at Parkside Mausoleum.
