Obituary for JoAnn Cassidy (Restino)
JoAnn (Restino) Cassidy, 78, Wilson Road, passed away on December 2, 2018 at her residence.
Born on January 30, 1940 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Antoniotti Restino.
JoAnn worked as a hair dresser and at Rockwell International in her early years.
She was affiliated with the Union Missionary Alliance Church.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family whom she loved very much. JoAnn was also a member of the Moose Club, the VFW, Country Music Association. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, cooking, doing crafts and going to different casinos.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Albert Cassidy, Jr of Hillsville, Jodi Cassidy and her partner, Dennis Guesman, Susan Cameron and her husband Troy and Kevin Cassidy all of New Castle, grandchildren, Julie Cunningham, A.J. Cassidy, Melissa Cassidy, Rocky Grim, Valerie Pavelko, Cody Lewis, Deric Lewis, Jacob Houk, Kevin Cassidy, Jr., Kasey Cassidy, Kenneth Cassidy, and Kaitlyn Cassidy and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by one brother, and one sister.
In honoring her wishes, there is no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
