Dora Irene Darwin, 95, of Taylor Township, passed away the morning of November 5, 2018 at UPMC Jameson.

Born on February 4, 1923 in Wheatland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hillis W. and Delilah Bessel Cameron.

On December 25, 1943 she married her beloved husband, Robert G. Darwin who preceded her in death on September 5, 2007.

Dora was a very spiritual person and devoted member of Hoover Heights CMA Church. Dora enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing the piano and painting pictures that she would give to her friends and family. An accomplished baker she was known for the wonderful pies she made.

Dora is survived by her daughter, Irene Klenotic and husband John, and her daughter-in-law Gloria Darwin, all of New Castle, three grandchildren, Kristina Rule, Rebecca Tanner and Matthew Klenotic, four great grandchildren, Madison Rule, Sydney Tanner, Austin Rule and Aspen Tanner.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dora was preceded in death by her son, Robert H. Darwin and cousin, Raymond Cameron.

A service was held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. with Pastor Larry Llewellyn officiating.

Burial took place in Savannah Cemetery.
