Dorothy Kerber, 94, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of November 9, 2018 at Quality of Life Services of New Castle.

Born on November 8, 1924 in Masury, OH, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Ondic Chaky. On May 3, 1950, she married her beloved husband, Robert H. Kerber, who preceded her in death on October 16, 2001.

In her early years Dorothy had worked for Shenango China. Dorothy enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Susan Jendrysik and Deborah Bessell both of New Castle, three grandchildren, James Jendrysik and his wife Julie, Cynthia Eckert and her husband Rob, and Jorden Bessell, and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jared T. Bessell, three brothers, John, Joseph, and Andrew Chaky, five sisters, Anna Boor, Helen Barthalamew, Irene Chaky, Mary Campbell and infant sister, Elsie Chaky.

Honoring her wishes, there is no visitation and the service is private.

Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
