Mary Mancine, 105, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of October 20, 2018 at the Jameson Care Center.

Born in New Castle on November 5, 1912, Mary was the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Angelillo Ambrose. Preceding her in death on March 11, 1994, is her husband Charles Mancine, Sr. whom she married on February 12, 1949.

Mary was a former employee of the New Castle School of Trades where she had worked in the cafeteria. Prior to that, she had worked for the Johnson Bronze Corp. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid bowler well into her nineties.

Mary was a devout member of St. Vitus Church and a former member of the Glory and Praise Group of the church. She enjoyed attending different prayer groups and bible classes. Most important to Mary was her strong belief in her faith and love of her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the times spent surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her children, Ralph C. Vitale and his wife Glorianne of New Castle, Charles Mancine, Jr. of Modesto, CA, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Hassan, a son, Joseph Mancine, sisters, Margaret Clavelli, Thelma DePalmo, brothers, Tony, Carl, Pete and John Ambrose; her step-sister, Rose Ciampoli, and her former husband, Ralph M. Vitale.
