James “Fuzzy” Musolino, 91, of New Castle, passed away the morning of September 25, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born in New Castle on March 7, 1927, James was the son of the late Frank and Rosemarie Spinelli Musolino. Preceding him in death on September 23, 2018, is his loving and devoted wife of over sixty six years, the former Rose Marie Micco whom he married on June 21, 1952.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Vitus Church. James retired from Carbon Limestone. In his earlier years he had worked for Scarazzo Beer Distributors and was a truck driver for Bordonaros Fruit and Produce Company. He enjoyed bowling with local leagues, hunting, visiting casinos and enjoyed watching all of the Pittsburgh sports team. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children, Frank Musolino and his wife Karen of New Castle, Rose Ann Natale and her husband Frank of Pittsburgh, James Musolino and his wife Vickie of Phoenix, AZ;, his brother, Joseph Musolino and his wife Lucy of New Castle, his sisters, Antoinette “Dunnie” Musolino and Frances Musolino Brenner and her husband Mike, all of New Castle, two grandchildren, Danielle and Randl Sherman and Jason and Naomi Arnold and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, James is preceded in death by his sisters, Theresa Googe and Catherine “Katie” Musolino.
Visitation is Friday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9:30AM for St. Vitus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM officiated by Rev. Father Zachary Galiyas.
Burial will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
