Anthony D. Campoli Sr., 69, of Neshannock Township, passed away unexpectedly the evening of September 11, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born on February 5, 1949 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Sam Campoli and Angeline Retort Campoli. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 49 years, the former Kathy Johnson, whom he married on March 8, 1969.

Anthony retired as a leak inspector for Columbia Gas after more than 30 years of working. He was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. Anthony’s hobby was his family and work. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially enjoying watching his grandsons’ athletic endeavors. Anthony always will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony Campoli Jr. and wife Dori of New Castle and Wendi Avery and husband Dupy of Pittsburgh, PA, brother, Sam Campoli and wife Anna Marie of New Castle, sisters, Rosemary Weir and husband Greg and Connie Flamino of New Castle, and grandchildren, Anthony and Santino Campoli.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Blessing services will be conducted Monday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Father Zachary Galiyas.

Entombment will take place in Parkside Mausoleum.
