Howard "Doc" D. Chambers Sr.
Howard D. “Doc” Chambers Sr., 71, of New Castle, passed away August 12, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on November 3, 1946 in Ward, PA, he was the son of the late Haywood and Margaret Freeman Chambers. He is survived by his longtime friend, Barb Hartman.

Howard retired from the agriculture industry and enjoyed delivering pizzas with his son in retirement. He also served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his longtime friend, Howard is survived by his children, Howard D. Chambers Jr. of New Castle and Ashley Chambers of Reading, PA, seven brothers, and three sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Monday at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
