Rosalind E.  Wathel
Rosalind E. Wathel, 64, of New Castle, passed away the morning of July 24, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on April 14, 1954 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Eddie B. Miles and Mary Ann Wiley Beach.

Rosalind had worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for various businesses. She was an active member of Bible Way Church of God in Christ. Rosalind had volunteered for Lawrence County United Way and Summer Food Program.

Rosalind is survived by her sister, Sheila R. James of New Castle; brother, Timothy Thomas of New Castle; aunt, Anna Belle Bailey of Tokyo, Japan; uncle, Reverend Steven H. Wiley of Fredericksburg, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anita James Dixon.

Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Bible Way Church of God in Christ, 125 N Crawford Ave, New Castle, PA. Services will be conducted Monday at 11:00am at the church, officiated by Pastor John Young.

Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
