Thelma L. Hampton, 84, of New Castle, passed away the evening of June 26, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on March 22, 1934 in Helena, AL, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Hudson and Rebecca Lane Witherspoon. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Wayne Winston.

Thelma enjoyed fishing, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Memorial services will be conducted Monday at 12:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St.
