Edna J. Welch, 66, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away the evening of June 7, 2018 at her son’s residence in New Castle. Born on August 16, 1951 in Steubenville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Nelson Barnhart.

Edna enjoyed reading, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Edna is survived by her son, Jason Welch of New Castle, sister, Judy Bennett of New Castle, and grandchildren, Takara and Elijah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lee Carbasho and Sheila Barnhart.
