Larry J. Maola, 62, of New Castle, passed away the evening of June 5, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on December 27, 1955 in Aliquippa, PA, he was the son of the late John and Rose Battaglino Maola. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, the former Susan Crist, whom he married on July 22, 1989.

Larry had worked as a merchant credit salesman. He was a member of St. Camillus Church. Larry was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed golfing. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Michael Crist, Marcia Trocci and husband Dennis, Joseph Crist and wife Tammy, and Anthony Crist and wife Julie; cousin, George; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father- and mother-in-law, Anthony and Virginia Stachowiak Crist, and sister-in-law, Kristen Crist.

Honoring his wishes, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent DePaul Church.
