Obituary for Betty K. Richards

Betty K. Richards, 80, of New Castle, passed away the morning of June 3, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital following a brief illness.

Born on February 10, 1938 in Terra Alta, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Delphia King Metheny. In 1956, she married her beloved husband, Charles Richards, and the two of them spent over 57 years together until he preceded her in death on January 23, 2014.

Betty is survived by her children, Charles Richards Jr. of New Castle, Laura Hoover and husband Lee of Winchester, VA, Jeffrey Richards of Boulder, CO, and Eric Richards of New Castle; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Honoring her wishes, services are private.
