Obituary for Thomas W. Manolis

Thomas W. Manolis, 53, of Neshannock Township, passed away the afternoon of May 9, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born on August 27, 1964 in New Castle, he was the son of the late William and Rose Moses Manolis.

Thomas owned and operated The Embroidery Company for more than 25 years. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Thomas enjoyed riding motorcycles and ATVs, playing cards, and hunting. He also was an avid fan of all of Pittsburgh’s sports teams. Thomas’ greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.

Thomas is survived by his brothers, James Manolis and wife Rosemary of Neshannock Township, John Manolis of Neshannock Township, Nicholas Manolis and wife Jacqueline of Shenango Township, and Steven Manolis and wife Cynthia of Randolph, NJ; girlfriend, Pamela Kopka of Neshannock Township; and nine nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Trisagion services will be conducted Friday at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:30am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, officiated by Father Michael A. Gavrilos.

Interment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
