Judith F.  Koblitz
Judith F. Koblitz, 82, formerly of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of May 6, 2018 at The Baptist Home in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on May 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alley and Emma Hasson Durgam.

In her earlier years, Judith had worked for Reliable Lumber. She then owned and operated an Arby’s Restaurant in Washington, PA for 17 years. She later worked at Your Names The Game Advertising Company. Judith was a member of the El Fityet Allaween Syrian Association Ladies Auxiliary.

Judith is survived by her children, Nikki Edenfield and husband Richard of Orlando, FL and Denise Mark of Yorktown, VA; son-in-law, Greg Engelmeyer of Mt. Lebanon, PA; sisters, Lila Panzo of Harrisburg, PA, Anita DeMarco of New Castle, and Kathleen Durgam of Laurel, MD; her brother, Norman Durgam of New Castle; grandchildren, Jenna Celi and wife Amanda, Mark Engelmeyer, Samantha Walton and husband Brian, and Michael Edenfield and wife Monica; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Engelmeyer, and sisters, Gloria Nader, Zayna Notar, and Marilyn Durgam.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00am at the funeral home, conducted by Michael Allay.

Interment will take place in Valley View Cemetery.
