Obituary for Michael J. Pallerino Sr.

Michael J.  Pallerino Sr.
Michael J. Pallerino Sr., 80, formerly of Clayton Street, passed away the evening of May 5, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on November 25, 1937 in New Castle, he was the son of the late John and Margaret General Pallerino. On October 22, 1960, he married his beloved wife, the former Julia DiBacco, and the two of them spent 52 years together until she preceded him in death on June 18, 2013.

Michael owned and operated Pallerino’s Auto Service. He also served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. Michael was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and visiting casinos.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael J. Pallerino Jr. and wife Jennifer of Atlanta, GA, Rod Pallerino and wife Melissa, and Jeffrey Pallerino and wife Jodi, all of New Castle; brothers, Robert Pallerino and David Pallerino, both of New Castle; and grandchildren, Andrew, Alec, Macy Julia, Christopher, Jonathan, Matthew, Joshua, Tyler, and Megan. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, August, Vito, Nick, Clem, and Ralph Pallerino Sr., and sisters, Stella Pisani George and Angeline Cubbal.

Honoring his wishes, there are no calling hours planned. A private blessing service will be conducted at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd, conducted by Mr. Matthew Hawkins, St. Vitus Parish Seminarian.

Interment will take place in St. Lucy Cemetery.
