Madeline R. Viggiano, 63, of Shenango Township, passed away the afternoon of March 2, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born on June 19, 1954 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Sr. and Rose Macri Micco Ross. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Matty Viggiano, whom she married on November 11, 1972.

Madeline worked as a caregiver for LCARC. She was a member of St. Vitus Church. She loved cooking and the holidays. Madeline cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Madeline is survived by her children, Stephany Byers and husband Mark, Stacy Comer and husband Edward, Shannon Viggiano, and Tiffany Viggiano, all of New Castle; brother, Joseph Ross Jr. of New Castle; sisters, Veronica Patterson and Gloria Ross, both of California; twenty grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Ross.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Blessing services will be conducted Tuesday at 6:30pm at the funeral home, officiated by Father Zachary Galiyas of St. Vitus Church.
