Obituary for Theodor Wuerch

Theodor  Wuerch
Theodor Wuerch, 94, of New Castle, passed away the morning of February 6, 2018 at Golden Hill Nursing Home. Born on September 3, 1923 in the Ukraine, he was the son of the late Arnold and Othilia Rentz Wuerch. Surviving is his beloved wife of 66 years, the former Maria Bauml, whom he married on September 22, 1951.

Theodor retired after 35 years of being self-employed in the furniture repair and upholstery business. He enjoyed working, but, in his later years, he truly loved teaching the Bible to people. Theodor also was an avid reader.

In addition to his wife, Theodor is survived by his children, Alfred P. Wuerch of Dallas, TX and Diana M. Wuerch of San Jose, CA, and grandchildren, Annalise Beeler and Matthew Wuerch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Selma Mittlestadt and Hilda Wuerch.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses 2020 Willow Way, officiated by Gilbert Parshall.

Entombment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
