Obituary for Barbara A. Pisciuneri
Barbara A. Pisciuneri, 74, of Union Township, passed away the morning of February 4, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born on March 4, 1943 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Zduriencik Roth.
In her earlier years, Barbara worked as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines. She retired as a supervisor for Liberty Mutual after 15 years of working. Barbara was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. She enjoyed reading and cooking. Barbara always will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and friend who would do anything for her family and close friends. She dedicated her life to and cherished the time spent with them.
Barbara is survived by her children, Alicia Micco and husband Jeff of Lebanon, PA and James Pisciuneri and wife Brandy of Tampa, FL, and grandchildren, Dante, Rocco, and McKenna.
Honoring her wishes, there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday at 10:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Church, officiated by Father William Siple.
Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112 or Mary Mother of Hope Parish, c/o 910 South Mercer Street, New Castle, PA 16101.
