Obituary for Roberta (Bobbi) Angelo

Roberta (Bobbi) Angelo, 72, of Union Township, passed away the morning of January 4, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on May 14, 1945 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Anthony (Tucker) and Mary Wojtowicz Kolodjeski.

On April 21, 1965, she married her first and only love, Phil Angelo, after meeting on a blind date. They were together for 52 wonderful years. They were inseparable and always together.

Bobbi had worked as a deli clerk for A&M Supermarket, Shop N’ Save, and Giant Eagle. She then worked for Personal Touch Home Health Care. Bobbi loved any and all animals; she had a great companion in her dog Rudy. She was extremely funny and, at times, downright hilarious. She had people in stitches and had no idea why they were laughing. Bobbi was a true friend and was loved by everyone. She had absolutely no enemies; if you knew her, you loved her. There was never a more devoted and loving mother. Her family’s needs always came first. Bobbi had the most positive outlook on life and was always the life of the party. She could brighten up the mood of everyone she was around.

In addition to her husband, Bobbi is survived by her children, Michael Angelo and wife Beth, Mark Angelo and wife Kayleigh, Mitchell Angelo and wife Lindsey, Melanie Johnson and husband Todd, and Matthew Angelo and wife Shannon; grandchildren, Zach Angelo, Julia Angelo, Shelby Scott, Carmela Johnson, Madison Angelo, Donovan Angelo, Adalyn Angelo, Austin Clark and wife Alissa, Layla Angelo, and Kenley Angelo; and great-grandchildren, Kendal Clark and Riley Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Emmett.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Tuesday at 10:15am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Anthony Church of Christ the King Parish, officiated by Father James Downs.

Entombment will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Lowellville, OH.
