Victor J.  Viggiano
Victor J. Viggiano, 77, formerly of Division Street, passed away the afternoon of October 26, 2017 at his daughter’s residence. Born on April 12, 1940 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Rocco M. and Mary D’Ambrosia Viggiano. Surviving is his wife of 55 years, the former Charlotte Scungio, whom he married on December 1, 1962.

Victor had worked for Shenango China for 30 years, and following that, he worked as a baker for DeRosa Bakery for 15 years. He was a member of St. Vitus Church. Victor enjoyed bowling, visiting casinos, and watching horse racing. He loved spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren participate with sports, and always enjoyed the company of his dogs.

In addition to his wife, Victor is survived by his children, Tammi Windl and husband Jay and Traci Martwinski and husband Vince, all of New Castle; grandchildren, Brittni Bistyga, Brianna Dale, Vincent Pavia, and Lauren Pavia; and great-grandchildren, Christopher and Michael. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Patsy, and Matthew Viggiano, and sisters, Yolanda Paglialong, Diana Carbone, and Almerinda Ruehl.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home Monday at 9:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Vitus Church, officiated by Father Zachary Galiyas.

Interment will take place in St. Vitus Cemetery.
