Obituary for Helen M. Yannarella
Helen M. Yannarella, 85, of Shenango Township, passed away the morning of July 23, 2017 at her residence. Born on July 14, 1932 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Clara Casmier Ginocchi. Surviving at home is her beloved husband of 62 years, Fred P. Yannarella, whom she married September 25, 1954.
Helen was a member of St. Vitus Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and cooking, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by her children, Tina Yannarella and Martin Yannarella and wife Debbie, all of New Castle, sister, Judy Pohorsky of Las Vegas, NV, brother, Edward Gennock of Las Vegas, NV, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Yannarella Renna.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Blessing services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Father Frank Almade, pastor of St. Vitus Church.
Entombment will take place in Parkside Mausoleum.
