Richard W. Nonnemacher, 73, of Butler, PA, passed away the morning of February 8, 2017 at Butler VA Hospital. Born on December 21, 1943 in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Claude and Pauline Remaley Nonnemacher.

Richard retired from his job with Pentex. A proud veteran, he served his country as a corpsman for the U.S. Navy.

Richard is survived by his children, Theresa Nonnemacher of Wampum, PA, Michael Nonnemacher and wife Lisa, and Daniel Nonnemacher, all of New Castle, and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Russ Nonnemacher; sister, Laverne Roxberry; and significant other, Patricia McCreary.

Honoring his wishes, there are no calling hours, and services are private.

Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
